Still Becoming:

The Courage to Outgrow Expectations

If you’ve spent your life meeting expectations,
silencing your voice,
and chasing external validation…

this is your invitation
to come home to yourself.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Still Becoming is a reflective, story-driven exploration of what it means to outgrow a life that once made sense—and to listen for what comes next.

Through honest moments drawn from classrooms, leadership roles, family life, and personal turning points, Julie traces the quiet, often unnoticed experiences that shape a life:

the tension of staying too long
the courage of small decisions
and the slow work of becoming more fully yourself

This is not a book about reinventing your life overnight.

It’s a companion for those who sense something is changing…
but aren’t yet sure how to name it.

I didn’t write Still Becoming as someone who had it all figured out.

I wrote it as someone who realized the life that once made sense… no longer fit.

From the outside, it looked like success.
But underneath, something had shifted.

This book came out of that space—not clarity at the beginning, but honesty along the way.

Today, I work with leaders and teams navigating that same tension—
the space between who they’ve been… and who they’re becoming.

If this resonates, this book was written for you.
